Our Story

Hi, I'm Lanishka owner and Artisan of Beauty & Bubblez.
I am a proud Bahamian, born and raised in Nassau Bahamas, but has resided in the US from 2005. I am a wife and mother of two handsome young boys Tizzy & Blizzy. This is my story of how Beauty & Bubblez came to be.

It all started with our Healing Body Butter that was created for my youngest son Tizzy. As an infant his father and I quickly realized something was wrong with his skin by his 3 month check up. After a doctors visit we learned that he suffered from eczema. His doctor had recommended over the counter products that did not work. Then later gave us a prescription. But after some extensive research I decided I would try natural alternatives instead of the prescribed creams and harsh topical steroids. Unbeknownst to me and my husband this would be the start of my Beauty and Bubblez journey.

Honestly, it took 3 different tested formulations for me to get a product that worked and produced quick relief. It was hard to even keep clothes on him because they would absorb whatever I put on his skin; and his clothes would make him hot which led to him scratching like crazy. Little hand booties weren't stopping him from scratching his skin. I soon realized that heat and dry skin was a no no. After just three days of using the third batch made, I realized that his skin was no longer red, patchy and splotchy looking, the bumps and breakouts on his tummy were going away, the flesh like breakouts behind his ears and in his hairline were healing and fading. He no longer was trying to scratch these areas and that's when I realized that what I created was doing wonders by soothing, moisturizing and healing his dry irritated skin.

This Healing Body Butter is what started my venture and love for making other Artisan Bath & Body products for my entire family to use. Everything made and sold in our store is used throughout my household, my extended family and friends. I strongly believe that taking care of our skin is just as important as us having a healthy diet. After receiving good feedback from my family and friends; including my clients from my makeup and hair business. I decided to push the brand on a bigger scale; and it has been growing ever since.

Our products are made in small batches to ensure it's quality and freshness. We've expanded the line from just a whipped body butter with products from your hair to your toes that your whole family will enjoy.
